Orientation day 1 , As a new student i guess most of us were doubtful of everyone. As everyone looked at one another with a strange gaze , we were told to arrive at the school offered in the "surat tawaran" aka offer letter at 9 am . I arrive at 8.55am which i was almost late ... the room we were told to gather in was almost full by the time i arrive . But later i notice , more then half a the students there we upper sixes . After Registration , We started off with the introduction of form 6 by the principal Gan (one of the weirdest principal i have known) . Then the teacher slowly started to enter the auditorium to introduce them self and the subject they were going to teach...bla bla bla...the day ended....(Spacial thx to the upper sixes for making the room look crowded and organizing the whole orientation)

Day 2 , Introduction to the last few teacher who didn't get the opportunity to present themselves on the 1st day ,bla bla bla......we were taught to sing the school song which sadly i haven't sing the song for the past 1 and a half years although i was from that Tmn Desa (therefore it was actually my 1st time seeing the lyrics of the song) . Later on we had school visitation which really reminded me of my form 1 years in St Gabriel . Although it was my 1st time on a official guided tour around the school it was still boring . As we had time , we had an election for "AJK Hari Guru" (student who are suppose to work their butt of for teachers days) . It was the 1st time i have ever heard of a school which actually selects a board of directors to organize teacher's day . Even when i was in Smk Tmn Desa for a year , i haven't heard of this board before. It seem to be like "Priory Of Sion" of Tmn Desa which is kept a secret for the sole purpose of surprising teachers on teachers days . As it was only the second day and we still haven't got the chance to know people from the other schools. we(me a few friends) were practically calling out names which were easy to remember . All in all it was the worst day out of the 3 days

Day 3 , torture the newbies is what i could think the upper six were planing to do but i guess that is what is actually fun about orientations , we started of we ice breaking as we were separated into groups , and were told to play stupid games .

1ST OFF we were all saperated into teams.

Game 1 ; tie team mates legs together then grab folded paper on the floor like animals fighting for food .....

Solution ; crawl rather then walk . It would make the group easier to move around

Problem ; upper sixes said "u cannot crawl" when they notice it was to easy it was to easy when a team was crawling....therefore consider cheating if we crawl

Game 2 ; Teams are given a green card to solve a physic and bio question on the card .

Solution ; 10min , or spy on other teams

Problem ; Organizer/upper sixes no spying and we are only given 5 min

Game 3 ; pass the story along the team and see how the story will change at the end

Solution ; use electronic(handphone) to record the original then pass it to the last person

Problem ; Organizer will report handphones to teachers to be confiscated .

Game 4 ; suck flour mixed water with straw and transfer it into a bottle about 3 feet away

Solution ; just pour it into the bottle rather then suck it or use the straw to make it into a spoon to scoop rather then suck a glue like substance

Problem ; u can only suck and nothing else

Game 5 ; Told to work together and think of a way to fit every one into a piece of newspaper

Solution ; open the newspaper to the maximum width and length

Problem ; you cannot touch the newspaper you can only stand in it

Game 6 ; Given 3 tiny straws from those packet drinks which comes with straws and told that you cannot touch the bottle with your hand and to finish the 1 litre of water in 5 mins.

Solution ; Find 2 sticks on the ground and use it as chop-sticks to lift the bottle and drink it rather then slowly sucking from 3 tiny straw connected together

Problem ; you cn only suck again...=.=''

Game 7 ; 6 pieces of toilet paper and 2 pieces of newspaper and 2 eggs , told to wrap the egg and drop it so it won't break

Solution ; None

Problem ; After my team drop the egg and broke 2 of the eggs we were told the solution

Solution from organizer ; a person can be use as a cushion to prevent the egg from breaking.

WAIT a minute y didn't i think of it.......=.=''.....

Reason ; all my attempt to think out of the box/solution all have been considered cheat why bother....

Game 8 ; repeat the word Kupu?????

Solution ; use electronics like handphones

Problem ; I have stated the problem above before. So i don't want to repeat myself

Anyway that was all the games that was given to us on the 3rd day of orientation ...... we later had a mini feast and we had more ice breaking session. This time including everyone and not in groups .

"As time waits for no man" , the 3 days of orientation is over . And on the 4th day it is the day back to class to begin the 1st day of the 1 and a half years of of hell that i will need to endure again as students of Form 6
